A bit about us

We are a team of dedicated innovators, software engineers, machine vision and machine learning specialists. We have 15 years of expertise in various fields of computer science related to Artificial Intelligence & Big Data, Image processing and of course SaaS & Enterprise Systems. Our code is running in automotive factories and business facilities all over the world.

Job Requirements

You will be an integral part of our software engineering team working at various projects either for internal or external customers. As far as education goes, the only requirement is that you are good at what you do and you are willing to learn. Being eager to learn is an advantage as is having a driving license.
The work should be on-site in one of our offices in Prague, Brno or Liberec with regular visits to Prague main office. After a few months home office might be an option.

As far as language skills go, fluent English – both written and spoken is a must. Good knowledge of German would be a big advantage, other languages are welcome.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a mature and detail focused, punctual person. You should be very well organised and able to manage your time. Being responsible and reliable is mandatory.
We expect you to:

  • An experienced UX / UI designer who already has several functional web or mobile applications
  • Have several years of experience with large-scale software development projects.
  • Be a person who is constantly looking for new trends and able to put them into practice and is familiar with human centered design.
  • You should know how to prepare user stories, scenarios, UX tests, UX design and know the tools of the trade.
  • You need to handle the opinions of others and draw inspiration and input for your own work.
  • It would be nice if you are a bit familiar with: jenkins, docker, gerrit, bash and have a knowledge of front-end web development.
  • Knowing “a thing or two” about something completely unrelated is an advantage, you should have some hobbies, life is too short to just work all the time (unless, of course, coding is your hobby, in that case you will fit right in).

What we can offer you?

Our employee fluctuation is very low, we can recognise and value talent. We also know how to keep it in the long run.

If you join us, you can expect to work on projects that are part of a concerted effort by the world’s leading corporations to transform, digitise and automate key aspects of manufacturing, B2B and B2C supply chain and office work. Your work will be used all over the world.

A company car is a possibility to be considered.

To sum up:

  • Most of us are developers, we are keeping the company culture professional, but very much NOT corporate and NOT formal.
  • We offer 5 weeks of paid holiday and an option of using a hotel high in the Austrian Alps as an office.
  • Would you like to learn something related to computer science or physics? We pay for the books. Are you interested in learning another language? We can pay for the lectures.

Company Rules & Regulations:

The rules that apply in DataVision are really simple. We are all human beings, not robots and humans sometimes make mistakes. That being said, we consider being responsible and reliable in the long run a mandatory rule.
If you managed to read the whole thing and you ended up here it means you are either really interested or really bored. If it is the first case, please get in touch with us.
